Frank Loconto, a singer and political commentator who wrote jingles for governors and congressional candidates, has passed away. He died on Wednesday at a nursing home.
The “The Bob Graham Song” from 1978, which Graham penned when he applied for a position in the Governor’s palace, was his biggest hit at the time, according to the news agency United Press International in 1986. Graham sang it in front of an audience, and it became known as “The Graham Cracker Song” and was shown on CSPAN.
